Welcome to Seat Down Please (the Service). By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you use it for an organization you confirm you may accept them on its behalf.

1. What the Service is

The Service lets you turn a seating plan into a digital seat map, manage seating for events and let attendees choose seats. Events can use free registration or connect to an external ticketing platform such as Luma.

The Service is still evolving and features may change or pause.

2. Accounts

You can sign in with Google or an email code. Please give a correct email and protect your mailbox and sign-in; actions taken with your account are treated as yours.

You may let your account manage the tickets of another verified email. That mailbox is notified and can revoke the access at any time.

3. Organizer responsibilities

When you create events and invite or import attendees, you are the controller of those attendees’ personal data and we process it on your behalf as a processor.

• You must have a lawful reason to collect and use attendee data and tell them when required.
• You are responsible for event information, prices, refund and cancellation rules and for following applicable law.
• Seating plans must respect the venue’s capacity, fire and accessibility rules. The Service does not check these for you.

4. Luma integration

To connect Luma you create an API key in your own Luma account and authorize us with it. The key is stored encrypted and you can revoke it on Luma or delete it here at any time.

Luma remains the seller of the tickets and the payment processor. Payments, refunds, fees and taxes are handled on Luma. We never handle the money and are not a party to the sale. Your relationship with Luma is governed by Luma’s own terms.

If Luma changes its service, interface or policies the integration may be affected. We will try to adapt but cannot promise it. The Service is not affiliated with Luma.

5. AI features

When you upload a seating-plan image or use the AI chat editor, the content is sent to Google Gemini. AI results can be wrong. You must review them before publishing and remain responsible for the final seat map.

Please do not upload images that contain personal data you do not need to share, such as a full guest list with names. See the privacy policy for details.

6. Your content and public venues

Content you upload and create remains yours. You allow us to store, process and display it as needed to provide the Service.

If you set a venue to public, anyone can view and download it, and later others may be able to copy it to their own space with the source credited. Private venues and venues shared by link only do not appear in the template library. Do not make a venue public if it contains confidential information.

7. Acceptable use

• No unlawful, fraudulent, harassing or rights-infringing use.
• No attacking, probing or disrupting the Service or bypassing its limits.
• No spam, and no mass mail to people you have no relationship with.

If you break these rules we may suspend or remove the content and accounts involved.

8. Fees

The Service is currently free to try. If we start charging we will announce it in advance and give you the chance to stop before any charge.

9. Availability and disclaimers

We work to keep the Service reliable but provide it as is, without a guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation. For important events keep a backup, such as a printed guest list and seat plan.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss, lost profit or losses from a cancelled event, and our total liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the previous twelve months. (To be confirmed by counsel.)

10. Ending your use

You may stop using the Service at any time and ask for your data to be deleted under the privacy policy. We may end the service for you if you break these terms, with notice where possible.

11. Governing law and changes

When we change these terms we update the date, and tell you by email or in the product about significant changes.
